I’d definitely vote NP on this, but no idea what the market is like. Very clean Road master .

Wonder how many could sleep in this? I’d love a vehicle I could comfortably sleep in. I’ve slept mine over the years, but never particularly well.

I’ d rather have a Wagoneer, of course, but still. Damn.

The rear of that looks exactly like my 1983 Chevy Caprice Wagon. If it’s the same dimensions, it will fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood between the wheel wells. The Caprice is also 18' long... So you could probably sleep two if they knew each other and  three if they all really wanted to get to know each other.

Way back when I was in the Navy I knew a guy named Craig   who had one, looked just like this one.

One night, after curfew, I get a knock on my barracks room door and its my buddy Joey, and he goes “Dude, I need your help, we have to go rescue Craig.” So I roll out with him and we take Joey’s lifted, poop brown colored FJ60 to Walmart and buy some heavy duty tow straps and then drive out to this park and down a forest service road where we eventually find the Roadmaster off the side of the road, burried up to the axles in mud.

Apparently Craig and his gf decided to go have a little fun in the back, away from prying eyes, but the service road was getting a little treacherous so he tried to turn around and come back, and backed it right into a mud pit. We were able to save the day and all s neak back into the barracks right under the nose of the Duty Officer. Everyone was safe and no one the wiser.

I think the moral of this story is you need both a Wagoneer AND a Roadmaster.

If by some unlikely combination of events I end up with one of each , I’ll be sure to name one Snuze and the other Craig.

If it has no rust, that's a pretty good price. These have long since been a dream of mine to build a sleeper out of. Thought it has been done many times before, I really find them cool.

Price is decent, if it’s rust free.

Man I miss my Roadie.

Fantastic story! What ever happened to it?

Rust happened. It was still relatively solid , so I sold it before it disintegrated and while it was still worth something. I know it was the right thing to do, but I regret it anyways.

It’s got rot started in the quarters, stained interior, and 213k miles. I’d be interested at $1500, at $2700 I can buy a better one.
